What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Paypal, which allows anyone with an email address to pay by credit card or bank account. A form will soon be added for payment by checks or money orders through the US mail for those who prefer not to use Paypal.
What about taxes?
Michigan residents pay 6% sales tax because Victoria Woodhull & Company has a DBA filed in Jackson County,Michigan.
Why do you no longer accept credit cards without a Paypal account?
Simply put, it cost too much. Most consumers do not realize that retailers pay several fees in order to accept credit cards. There's a monthly gateway fee, a monthly statement fee from the merchant bank, a minimum monthly fee, a per transaction fee, and a bank discount fee which is a certain percentage of the sales. Paypal is a more affordable option for small businesses.
How do you send the item(s)?
Generally by first class U.S. mail. All items that have a shipping charge of $3.85 or more are sent 2-day priority mail. If you want an item sent overnight or by another method than U.S. mail, please contact us. Overnight shipping is more expensive and the rates below do not apply.
What are your shipping & handling charges?
The shipping & handling charges for domestic purchases are $1.98 for purchases of $.01-$9.99; $3.85 for purchases of $10.00-49.99; $5.85 for purchases of $50.00-$99.99.; $8.40 for purchases of $100.00-199.00; and $13.75 for purchases of $200.00+. If you are from another country, please email us for the actual cost of shipping & handling.
